Brad Norris is a registered massage therapist, kinesiologist / exercise physiologist and human performance specialist. He earned a Master’s degree with a specialist in exercise science and biomechanics from East Tennessee State University. He is also a former member of the Canadian National Bobsleigh Team and Canadian Track and Field program.
As lead consultant and owner of Power Tek Fitness and Linden Valley Integrated Therapy based in Lindsay, Ontario, Brad has worked with numerous national, Olympic, professional, and collegiate athletes and teams over a thirty-year career. He holds certifications in functional integrated acupuncture, soft tissue release ( STR / MMR ), Fascial Abrasion techniques / IASTM, Fascial Stretch Therapy and corrective functional exercise / assessment. He is a Level 3 – Poliquin Certified Strength Coach and has served as a lead clinical instructor for Rocktape, The FIT Institute and The Poliquin International Certification Program for the last 15 years effectively bridging the gap between performance and rehabilitation.
Brad is a sought-after lecturer in the fields of strength and conditioning, sport injury and human performance. He has presented on an array of topics that encompass functional assessment, exercise prescription, injury treatment / prevention and program design across populations. As a movement, fascial enthusiast, he spends much of his free time exposing teams, athletes and clinicians to a unique functional movement and treatment platform that serves athletes and patients alike.
